a couple new paintings to peep

finished these two paintings recently...
the orangey-yellowy one with the wave is tiny - around 5" x 9" on panel.
the blue one with all the lines/trees is 16" x 40" on canvas.

I use house paint, spray paint, acrylic, enamel, and ink in my paintings.

they'll both be getting redwood frames.

go outside. breath some air. smile.

and another new painting.

Just finished this one too.  It's a quadtych consisting of three canvases and a panel.  Overall dimensions without frame are 14" X 86-1/2".  I made it with acrylic, spray paint, enamel, and ink. It has a nice redwood frame to boot.

I've been having fun seeing how far I can take these away from being more recognizable paintings of waves and I think it shows...in any case, enjoy.

some new paintings.

Here are a few little paintings I've finished recently.  as usual with the little guys, they're roughly 4-5" by 9-10" and are made with house paint, spray paint, acrylic, enamel, and ink on panel.

enjoy :)

surf mandala

made this to see if I could pull it off small first.  Still needs a frame, but overall it ain't bad...

16-1/4" diameter, all the usual jumble of paint types, blah blah blah.

the solstice with the mostest.

Well maybe not the mostest, but I've been busy... happy summer!

- the first eight are all small works, roughly 9"-10" by about 4"-5"  I use house paint, spray paint, acrylic, enamel, ink.

remember that noise you made when you crashed your toy cars?
make it again....

This one is a rare venture into what I call 'couch sized' painting.  It's 40" x 42", house paint, spray paint, acrylic, enamel, and ink on canvas and wood.  Three panels total.  Doesn't have a title.

I think it's a pretty sweet painting and I'm gonna build a nice redwood frame for it to boot.

Ankle biters

here are a few more little paintings I've been working on recently.

as usual with the little guys, they're roughly 4-5" in one direction, and 9-10" in the other.  I use house paint, spray paint, acrylic, enamel, industrial grade ink, and sorcery.

enjoy!

a large pair.

Feels really nice to be painting larger-scale again.  I'm never really happy about moving or storing them, but making bigger shit just feels good to me.

- as always, you'll have to check your expectations of super nice photos of my work - iphone camera is what you get, so suck it up. This isn't all about tough love; I'm going to show you a few process and detail shots too!

See how nice I am?  You should go hug someone and pass the niceness on.
